The Flooring products section on the Flooring tab houses all available products for use within your projects.
It is separated into a Browse tab, which shows the available manufacturer catalogues, a Palette tab, where products that you have selected will appear for use within projects, and a Search tab.
The Browse tab
On the Browse tab, there is a top-level Home view with product library folders shown. Each product subfolder then contains various products and colorways.
- Two catalogues come with the Flooring Extension itself: one based on metric measurements, and one based on imperial measurements. These products cover the majority of tile sizes used in the US. These catalogues are displayed under the Essential libraries folder.
- The Flooring Library includes industry product provided by participating manufacturers and is available in the Marketplace. These catalogues are displayed under the Industry libraries folder.
Within the Browse tab, you are able to control catalogues by enabling/disabling, hiding, and accessing online or offline. The video below shows how to make those adjustments.

indicates an offline catalogue (downloaded)
The Palette tab
Adding product to your Palette is quick and easy. Using the Browse tab, navigate to the catalogue folder of your choosing, then click the plus to the right to make it available in the Palette within the current drawing.
- A green check indicates that a tile is available in the Palette.
- Hovering with the cursor over a color shows a larger preview with information such as size and part number.
For easy access, you can sort the products on the Palette tab by Name, Size, Color or Group, as shown in the video above.
- Clicking the star makes it a favorite and as such available within all instances of CET during and outside of the current session. The color will stay in the Palette until it is removed from your favorites.
- Clicking the minus will remove the product from the Palette.
For each product in your Palette, you can click the little square in the lower-left corner to set a schematic product color.
Once you have added the products you want to use in your project to your Palette, use the Painting Tools to apply them to your flooring surface.
The Search tab
The Search... field makes it easy to find a specific product, for example searching by product number, or keywords.
Product can be added to your Palette directly from the Search tab.
