The Attribute Note and Attribute Description columns can be seen when selected in the Article View Settings on the Columns tab.  These will provide open fields to add multiple lines of notes to a line item in Calculations. The information in these fields will exports in PMX, SIF, OFDA XML, and Excel formats.

Once the fields are visible in the Article View, double click on the field to open the Attribute Notes and Descriptions dialog box for that line. The Part Information will show at the top of this dialog.

Click the green plus to add a note and description line. Then double click into each field to add a note and/or description. This button will add a new note line at the bottom of the list.

Left click to select a line and use the Insert or Remove buttons to modify the lines of notes.

Click OK to save the notes and close the dialog box. 

Click Close or the X at the top left of the dialog box to leave without saving your changes. 

Once back in the Article View, only the first note line will show in the Attribute Note and Attribute Description fields. However, if you hover your cursor over these fields, the tooltip will show the contents in all lines.

To return to editing the notes and descriptions, double click on either field to reopen the Attribute Notes and Descriptions dialog box.
