With the Render a quick image feature, you can render your current 3D view on the fly.
To begin, select a render preset from the drop-down menu in the 3D toolbar:
Your options in this menu are based on which Extensions are currently installed. The selected preset is remembered until the next time you change it, so you don't have to change it every time. You can create and save your own custom presets in the Photo Lab which will then be available in the list too. See this article for more information on custom presets.
After making your selection, click the camera button above the arrow:
During rendering, a progress bar is displayed at the bottom of the 3D view, and the top right corner shows a button for cancelling the rendering:
Once the rendering is completed, the button changes behavior and becomes a tool for sending the rendered view to the Photo Lab for further processing:
After doing a view render, your 3D view is locked. To continue working, place the cursor in the 3D view and pick one of the following methods:
- Give the mouse a little shake
- Right- or left-click
