Did you find a nice preset in Photo Lab that you want to tweak just a little bit? Or would you like to manage every slider yourself to find those perfect settings? Then we suggest – no, we encourage – you save your own custom presets!
You can either start working from scratch in the Advanced mode, or you can select a preset in the Simple mode as your starting-point and then switch to Advanced mode to do a little adjusting here and there. This goes for both the Photograph setup side and the Post processing side. When you have tried the new settings out and are satisfied, remember to save your preset:
- In Advanced mode, adjust and test to find the idea settings for your preset.
- Click on the orange triangle at the top of the section, either Photograph setup or Post processing.
- Select "Add custom preset."
- Give your preset a name.
- Your new preset will appear in Simple mode, the list of presets shown in the drop-down menu from the orange arrow at the top in Advanced mode, and also in the View Render drop down in your 3D view. You can still make adjustments after selecting the preset without affecting the saved settings.
To delete a custom preset, you’ll need to go to the containing folder:
Documents > CET Documents > Preferences > Render presets
You can also easily find the folder from inside photo lab:
Just select the preset you want to remove and hit Delete.
