You may have received an email from your license administrator containing a link to a registration form for setting up your MyConfigura account. If this is the case, click to follow the link and fill out all the requested information.

If you didn't receive an email, you can still set up your MyConfigura account by clicking the Create an account link on my.configura.com, or by clicking the Create new account in the CET login window.

This article walks you through the following steps:

1. Creating a MyConfigura account with Single Sign-On (SSO) or Email and Password

Enter the email address you want to use as your MyConfigura ID. This will be your username when logging into any Configura products.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your company email has Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled, you'll be redirected to your company's identity provider (IdP) to log in. 

After authenticating, you will then be redirected back to the MyConfigura User Profile page to complete your profile details. 

Email and Password

After entering your email address and click Continue, you will be prompted to create a password. Please ensure that the password meets the following requirements: a minimal 10 characters, is not among commonly used passwords (see the list of most common passwords), and does not contain any personal data.

Then, click Continue. A verification email will be sent to the email you entered. Check your inbox for a verification email and follow the Verify Your Account link. Look in your spam/junk mailbox if you do not see the email in your inbox.

After verifying email, you will be redirected back to the MyConfigura User Profile page to complete your profile details. 

2. Complete Your Profile

After completing Step 1, you will be redirected to the MyConfigura User Profile page to fill out all the required fields. At the bottom of the page, you must accept our terms and conditions before clicking the Submit button. 

3. Choosing, Downloading, or Logging in

As the next step, if you are given a CET Edition license, after completing the registration, choose the Extensions you wish to install. You'll find that both Manufacturer's Extensions and utility Extensions are available on the same web page. Click to learn more or to install Extensions. You can deselect an Extension by clicking it again.

If you are given a SPEC related license (E.g., SPEC, CI Library for CAD or Workspace), after completing the registration, you will be redirected to the Downloads page.

Please note that download button will only be visible if you have the license assigned. 

The Notify and CI Library Warehouse download links are now only visible to users with Spec, CIL for AutoCAD, or Workspace licenses.

Both Haworth Toolpack and Teknion Toolpack download links are only visible to users with a CIL for AutoCAD or Workspace license assigned.

If you are given an Aline license, you will be redirected to Aline login page after completing the registration.

If you are not given any license, you'll be redirected to the Marketplace landing page to choose an Edition to proceed.

4. Downloading CET (For CET user only)

As a final step you can download CET. If you already have it installed on your computer, you can choose to start it.

5. Logging into CET (For CET user only)

When you first start using CET, you will be prompted to log in.

Click Log in with browser. A browser window will open and prompt you to enter your MyConfigura ID. 

Depending on your organization configuration, you will proceed with one of the following options:

Sign in with Single Sign-On

If your company email has Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled, you'll be redirected to your company's identity provider (IdP) to log in. After authenticating, you can then return to CET. CET is now logged in.

Sign in with Email and Password

If Single Sign-On (SSO) is not enabled, you will be prompted to enter your password. After entering your password, click Continue to sign in. Once authentication process is completed, you can then return to CET.

Authorize App

If you are logging in from CET, regardless of whether you are using SSO or Email and Password login, the Configura Authentication client may prompt you to authorize the application to access your configura-prod account. Please click Accept to continue.

Once the application has been authorized, you may return to CET after the Process complete screen appears.
