Installing and Uninstalling CET

Before installing CET, click here to verify that your computer meets or exceeds our system recommendations.
You need administrative rights (Power User) to install CET on your computer.
The instructions below apply to Windows 10.

Installing CET

Downloading and installing CET is a straightforward procedure.

Follow these steps:

On your MyConfigura account, go to the Downloads page and double-click the CET.msi file to download it.
In your web browser, click the .msi file to start the installation.
Choose Install anyway if a security warning pops up.
The Installer for CET is initiated. Proceed by clicking Next.
The License Agreement appears. You need to read and agree to the terms in order to start the installation. Check the box "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" and click Install.
Answer Yes to the question if you want to allow the application to make changes to your device. The application is now being installed.
Depending on if you are an existing user or a new user, the following occurs:

Existing user: CET starts automatically.
New user: The guide License Information is displayed. Enter the required information and when the wizard is complete, CET starts.

To remove CET from your computer, follow these steps:

Exit CET.
In your Window Settings, select Apps. You can also click the Windows icon on your keyboard and type Apps.
On the Apps & Features page, locate and click CET. The CET option is expanded and displays a Modify and an Uninstall button. For older versions of Windows, these buttons may appear at the top of the window.
Click the Uninstall button.
Confirm by clicking the second Uninstall button that pops up.
Answer Yes to the question if you want to allow the application to make changes to your device. The application is now being uninstalled.
