The Users page shows a list of all current users of your Extension sorted alphabetically by name.
Clicking the Filter button lets you control what information is visible in the list:
-
Columns to show – use the buttons to add more columns to the user list. Note that these buttons only apply to the list on this page, not the Export Users spreadsheet.
- Sort out – use the buttons under each header, respectively, to filter the user list. All selected parameters (blue buttons) are shown in the list on this page AND in the Export Users spreadsheet.
There are 4 types of User Types - Valid User, Invalid User, Invalid User with CET, and Configura User. There is a tooltip beside each invalid user type, listing the reason of the user's invalidation.
Invalid User
Unregistered and verified MyConfigura user. - This user has not registered and/or verified their MyConfigura account. This occurs when the License Admin allocates licenses to an email that has not registered and/or verified their MyConfigura account.
To resolve this, please inform the user to complete the registration via the License allocation email sent and verify the account.
Users without a valid CET license of all types. - This user does not have a valid CET license. This occurs when no CET license is assigned to the user, or the assigned license has expired.
To resolve this, please assign a valid CET license to the user via the Licenses page or renew the user's license.
Users without a valid, allocated and accepted/approved extension. - This user does not have a valid extension license and has no accepted/approved request. This occurs when no extension license is assigned to the user or the assigned extension license has expired, and request status is pending or denied.
To resolve this, please assign a valid extension license to the user via the Licenses page or renew the user's license, and either add the user to any extension channel via Filters page or approve the user's pending request via the Requests page.
Invalid User with CET
Users with access to CET license. - This user has a valid CET license.
Users who are not granted access to extensions in CET. - This user has no accepted/approved request. This occurs when user has a valid extension license but the extension request status is pending for approval or denied.
To identify which extension(s) has pending or denied request, hover to the icon beside the user's email, showing the pending or denied request for extension(s).
To resolve this, please add the user into any extension channel via Filters page or approve the user's pending request via the Requests page.
Once you are satisfied with the user list, you can click the Export Users button. You can also remove certain columns or sort the results in the spreadsheet.
Adding Users Manually to an Extension
License Admins can allocate Extension Licenses to Users in MyConfigura by navigating to Licenses > CET Licenses > Give Licenses.
Typically, once a license is assigned to a user, a request should appear under the Supervisor > Requests page; administrators (Owners, Dev Admins, or User Admins of the manufacturer/extension) will need to approve or deny said request to grant or deny the user access to said extension(s).
Alternatively, Filters can be used to bypass requests; by navigating to Supervisor > Filters, user emails and email domains could be added to filters to automatically approve access to extensions/catalogues.
Removing Users Manually from an Extension
Supervisor can remove the Extension Filter from a user on the Users page. Additionally, supervisor must remove the user from any Filter channels they were added to under the Supervisor > Filters page, if applicable.
