The Web Viewer for CET is a browser-based way to view CET drawings without needing the full CET desktop application installed.
At a high level, it’s designed for sharing, reviewing, and collaborating on CET projects more easily.
The Web Viewer lets you open and explore CET drawings directly in a web browser. Typically, a CET user exports or publishes a drawing, and others can access it via a link.
Getting Started with Web Viewer Extension
- Download and Install the Web Viewer Export extension from Marketplace.
- Create a drawing in CET.
- From File Menu up in the left hand corner click Import & Export tab.
-
When Web Viewer is installed, the "Export Drawing to Web" button is visible. Click on the Export Drawing to Web button and the Web viewer upload dialog opens and starts to work. A progressbar are showing you the progress and status of the upload.
-
The drawing is exported/published when a link is generated. Click on the link to open the drawing in the Web Viewer (step 6). Or use the copy icon to easy share the link with others.
-
When clicking on the link, the drawing will open in the web browser.
