Import SIF

Rather than starting a project from scratch in Aline, you can import a SIF file to start a project for a Customer.

From the Lobby page:

1. Select a Customer from the list. If they are not listed, create a New customer.

2. The Import SIF button appears in the top right of the window - Click the Import SIF button.

   

3. Browse for the file or Click and Drag the file into the window.

4. If applicable, select the appropriate Discount table revision from the dropdown.

5. Click the Import button.

Aline will create a NEW Project tile for the Customer. By default, the Project Name will be the File Name. When you click on the Project Tile, the line items of the SIF file will appear under the 'Products' section of the window. Custom line items or line items that do not have Catalogue Data will not be configurable when you click on the Specify tab.

From here, you can add or search additional product, specify product, adjust discounting and pricing, or present it to the Customer.
