Product Unit Converter is a tool that allows user to convert units and values of one, or multiple cells within a column. It is applicable on columns with measurable values, such as weight, depth or height within the Product Tab.

Select one or multiple cells and right-click to have a list of units available for the conversion, and select the desired conversion unit.

Change Project Units dialogue will appear with the following three options :

Convert Units and Value : This will convert both units and values within selected cells.

Convert Units only : This will convert the units while retaining the values within selected cells

Do Nothing : This will cancel the operation altogether

An example of a scenario where this tool can be used, is when creating multiple catalogues for different regions which requires conversion between imperial or metric measurement system.

While this can also be achieved by changing the Units at Project Tab (see Project Directory in the Catalogue Creator), Product Unit Converter gives more flexibility to select specific columns for the conversion to happen, instead of applying to all measurable values within Product Tab.
