Any object in CET can have its location locked, which can be very useful when you are done with parts of your drawing and don't want to accidentally change or move it.

The Lock position tool is very similar to the Freeze tool, but whereas freezing a component removes its 3D graphics, locking does not. To use this tool, follow these steps:

1. Select the object(s) that you want to lock.
2. Press L or right-click and select Lock position from the context menu.

To unlock, select the object and press Shift + L, or right-click and select Unlock position from the context menu.
