First Aid updates are temporary fixes we use when a Hotfix update isn’t available for a small group of users. They help solve the problem quickly while we work on getting a full update out to everyone.

Please do not install First Aid updates unless instructed by Support, as these updates are in a pre-release phase and are still undergoing testing. They should only be installed when necessary to resolve a specific issue. Before downloading and installing, please verify that you've selected the correct update. Support will provide you with the exact update name to ensure accuracy.

1. Navigate to the Help menu > Extension Details within CET:

   

2. When the Extension Details window opens, select the Download Extensions (First Aid) tab:

   

3. When the tab loads, use the drop-down menu at the top to select Configura Extension Center (First Aid):

   

   This will reload the screen to show available First Aid patches.

    

4. Click the checkbox next to the First Aid you were instructed to download (in our example, Flooring 16.0.51) and then click the Download and install selected button at the bottom of the screen:

   

5. A prompt will appear to confirm the installation. Click OK on this prompt.

6. Once the installation is completed, you will be returned to the Extension Details window. Click Return to CET located at the bottom of the window:

   

7. The installation will now show as an update in the update progress banner. If you click on it, it should list your selected First Aid as the pending update:

   

8. Once the update has finished processing, click Update and Restart on the prompt to restart CET:

   

9. When CET restarts, the First Aid update will be applied. You can confirm your installed versions in Help > About CET
