Installation and the Component Tab
Look for the Essential Pallet Racking component tab towards the left side of the screen. The tab is identified as a blue deep racking frame.
- After you have successfully downloaded and installed Essential Pallet Racking, click on the tab to preview the Extension's view modes and component sections.
Component Sections
Settings
Before you start, take some time to review these crucial editors along with your project requirements to pre-determine what product you will need.
How are these editors used?
• Pre Configurator is used to pre-determine the components and properties of the racks.
• Unit Load Editor is used to create and edit the unit loads needed for your drawing.
• Bay Editor is used to create/modify specific details about the bay properties.
• Frame Editor gives you the ability to create/modify specific details about the frame types.
• The View Configuration button allows you to select a Pre Configuration from the dropdown list
Main Components
Racking systems can be created and edited in your drawing with these tools.

Level Accessories
The Level Accessories section gives you the option to add accessories with the Mesh Desk and Chipboard tool. You can also add Depth Beam, Depth Frame, and Support Bars.
Bay Accessories
The Bay Accessories section gives you the option to add additional accessories with the Back Fence, Door, and Back Stop tools.
Frame Accessories
The Frame Accessories section gives you the option to add additional accessories with the Name Plates and Image Plates tools.
Protectors
The Protectors section gives you the option to add Upright, Flank, and Corner protectors.
Tools
Use these tools to provide clarity and organization to your project.

Copy and paste settings from one structure type to another using the Spread tools.

Quick Property Box
The green Quick Property box provides a fast and effective way of changing products as you work. This box will appear once you select a tool from the Essential Pallet Racking Extension and click on an object in your drawing.
View Modes
View Modes allow you to control the visibility of the objects in your project. The View Mode options are found at the bottom of CET just below the 2D/3D drawing space. They may differ from Extension to Extension. Essential Pallet Racking introduces three Extension specific modes.
How are these View Modes used?
• Unit Load will "unlock" the unit load objects so that they are easily editable. Use this view when focusing just on the unit loads in your project.
• Unloaded turns "off" the unit loads so only the frames are visible. Use this view when focusing on frame types and similar properties.
• Layout View Layout View will hide all 3D objects associated with the Essential Pallet Racking extensions and shows only 2D view. Use this view while space planning and creating layouts
