Using a Template

Recent Templates

Using the Recent tool in the File menu will give you quick access to previously used Templates and previous Template file locations. To open a recent Template, follow the steps below:

1. Select File menu
2. Select Recent
3. Select the Template

The Template will load and you can start working on your drawing!

Viewing and Searching Templates

Another option to quickly access Templates is by using the Templates tool in the File menu. The larger, middle section gives you a list of your saved Templates. This is based on your Saved Location. In addition, you can search for a Template by entering the name in the search bar at the top of this section.

To view this Templates list, follow the steps below:

1. Select File menu
2. Select Templates
3. Locate the Template
   OR
   Use the search bar
4. Select the Template 

The Template will load and return you to the main drawing page.

Here are a few more things to take note of on this Templates page!

1. : This button will open the Templates settings window from the Control Panel.
2. : This icon will give you additional information about the Template.
   • : This button will override the default Template selection.
   • : This button will Open a new drawing with this Template.
   • : This button gives you the option to assign colors to Templates and edit the description and/or name.
3. : This tag indicates the Template marked as the Default Template in the Control Panel.
4. : This tag indicates the Template applied to the drawing upon CET's startup. 
5. : This tag indicates the Template applied when opening a new drawing in CET.
