This area provides a list of products within the current project. This list is used to populate the Table of Contents.
Filtering
Some projects will have a large number of products available, and finding a specific product or set of products can be difficult. To that end, there are a number of filtering options available to limit the number of products displayed in the product list.
- Filter by product: The products may be filtered by text. A text filter may be applied to the products’ code, description, or either.
- Limit list to: The product list can also be filtered to show only products that exist in the catalogue, products that do not exist in the catalogue, or both.
- Filter Text: To filter products by text, choose an Apply Filter To setting, then enter text into this text field. Choosing Must Contain will cause the product list to only show products that contain this text. Choosing Must Not Contain will cause the product list to only show products that do not contain this text.
- Show For Vendor: This filtering option is only available for projects that have vendors enabled. The product list can be filtered to only show products from a specific vendor. To show all products, regardless of vendor, choose Any from the drop-down menu.
Product List
This list will show all products that exist in the project, less any products that were filtered out.
If there are too many products to display at once, there will be an additional item at the bottom of this list: <Double-Click to Load Next Page>. Double-clicking this item will load a set of new products into this list. To load a previous set of products, double-click the <Double-Click to Load Previous Page> item.
To the left of a product will appear as an icon. A green checkmark indicates that the product currently exists in the catalogue. A red cross indicates that the product currently does not exist in the catalogue. If the catalogue has a leadtime program set on it, some icons in this list may appear gray. This indicates that the product has a longer leadtime than that of the catalogue. These products
can still be placed on the catalogue, but will not appear when the catalogue is used.
