Why is my number of installs fewer than my number of users?
You might be looking at the Extension Installation graph, which is time-filtered by a dropdown — highlighted in the image below:The total number of users who have installed your extension can be found in the top middle under “Total User Count.”
Note: If this number is different from the number found in Extension Statistics in MyConfigura, it’s because Analytics calculations only consider users with a valid CET license. If a user has your extension installed but their CET license is expired, then they’re not considered a valid user.
-
Why is there no extension installation information prior to May?
We only started collecting this information recently. Hence some data may be missing, but the graphs will fill up over time!
-
I’m still not seeing any crashes or extension installations even though I set the time frame to the last 3 months. Why?
It could be that you have selected an extension that doesn’t have any installations or crashes. You can check a different extension using the ⚙️ Preference button.
Product
- Why do certain products not have the Option Zoom In arrow? How can I make the arrow available?
The arrow only appears for products that have selectable options in CET. For products with CET Extension as a source , the arrow may not appear if the extension uses a custom implementation that affects how option data is handled.
If you would like to understand more on how to enable it, please connect your development team with fractals@configura.com.

- In the Option Zoom In details page, what is the difference between the Total Part Count and Total Drawings in the top section vs. summary section within the table?
- The top section shows the overall totals from your main query results.
- The table summary section shows totals only for the selected top-level feature.
Because they represent different scopes, the numbers may not match.
- In the Option Zoom In details page, why don’t the part count breakdowns add up to the total part count shown in the summary section?
This usually happens when some part placements have incomplete or missing option data. The breakdown only includes counts tied to valid feature and option values. Therefore, any parts that lack complete option information will not appear in the breakdown—resulting in totals that do not match the summary
To ensure all counts appear correctly, the manufacturer may need to update how the product is developed in CET so that each part consistently outputs complete feature and option data into the BOM.
- In the Option Zoom In details page, why don’t the drawing count breakdowns add up to the total drawings shown in the summary section?
The drawing count is included whenever at least one part count exists in that drawing. However, multiple part counts can come from the same drawing, so the breakdown may list the same drawing more than once across different categories. As a result, the breakdown totals may not match the total drawing count shown in the summary section.
- Why does “No feature available” appear when I navigate to the Option Zoom In details page?
This message appears when no feature matches the main query filter. It typically occurs when the feature specified in the Feature Description field does not contain the option specified in the Option Description field.
