Step 2: Add Product Info→ PN, PD, MK, PC, SC, P1-P6, GC, WT, VO
The second step includes adding the part numbers, part descriptions, prices, and other information relevant to the product and catalogues.
PN, PD, MK, PC, SC, P1-P6, GC, WT, and VO columns are located in the SAM tab.
Columns G0-G6* will be addressed in Step 3.
* Additional G columns may be added depending on the product options.
REQUIRED: Part Number & Part Description → PN, PD
The PN and PD columns are determined by the manufacturer.
A few things to remember while working on this step:
- This must be done for every product part number you would like published.
- Each part number must be in its own row.
Part numbers are located in the last folder of the tree structure
It is recommended to use data that has been published in other tools such as a CET Extension or an online price book. This helps ensure that information is kept consistent between different sources.
- Part Number (PN) = 20 character limit
- Option Number/Code (ON) = 20 character limit
- Option Table (PO) = 100 character limit

Example 2: Spec

REQUIRED: Pricing & Price Zones → P1-P6
Price Zones are used to provide current and alternate pricing. The P1 column is used for current published pricing while the P2-P6 columns are used for alternate pricing.
Examples of alternate pricing include:
- Effective Date
- Legacy (Old)
Manufacturers are responsible for communicating Price Zone information to the user. To help with this communication, manufacturer notes are published in our Help Center. These notes typically contain Price Zone information and could include additional information such as discontinued catalogues.
|Type of Pricing
|Price Zone 1
|Current Published/Base List
|Price Zone 2
|Price Zone 3
|Price Zone 4
|Price Zone 5
|Price Zone 6
→ Do not "hide" the columns as it will create issues.
