Hardware Incompatibilities

USB-3-based Docking Stations

Some docking stations, mostly USB-3-based, may prevent CET from detecting your graphics card. This will cause the program to switch to Software Compatibility mode and will negatively affect performance.

Software Incompatibilities

Sonic Wall Security

If you are using a Sonic Wall Security applicant please refer to this document for settings related to downloading CET updates without Incident. Configure SonicWall security device to enable Configura downloads.

FortiGate Firewall

If you are using a FortiGate firewall you need to add the IP address and URL for your sites to the filter area on the FortiGate to be able to download extensions.

Nahimic Audio Software

We have seen recurring issues with the Nahimic audio software, due to its behavior of attempting to inject itself into other running processes. This can prevent CET from launching, and often results in frequent crashes.
