After completing updates in CET, the program may fail to reopen properly.

Error Details

In some cases, an issue during the update installation process causes the update to install incompletely. As a result, CET may not launch successfully after restarting.

This typically requires rolling back the most recent update and re-running the installation process.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open CET
2. Run available updates.
3. Click “Update on next startup” from the banner message, or select “Update & Restart.”
4. After the update completes, attempt to reopen CET.
5. CET fails to launch, even when using Clean Start or other startup options.
