Beside creating a block from scratch, you also have the option to create a block by cloning another block. For example, if you have placed three blocks of the same type in the drawing area, you can choose to create another block of two of them. Then the two changed blocks can be edited separately from the original.
To clone a block, follow the steps below:
- Select one or several blocks of the same type in the drawing area.
- Right-click and select Clone in the context menu. The cloned blocks are now a separate block of their own which is listed in the Blocks dialog.

Once you have cloned blocks, you can convert others by using the Replace function in the Blocks dialog.
