Distributed rendering allows you to spread the workload of rendering across multiple computers on your network. By leveraging idle machines, you can reduce the time it takes to complete complex renderings.

In CET, distributed rendering is achieved using two components:

1. CET with the Render Accelerator Extension (clients)
   
    

2. CET Render Server
   The Render Server is a small, freestanding application installed on computers that contribute processing power to the rendering network. It does not require a full CET installation or a CET license.

   The Render Server acts as a resource in the distributed rendering network. You can install it on as many computers as you like to maximize rendering speed.
