Fixes & Enhancements

Improvements

• The Material Explorer now only lists the categories represented on the currently selected tab (CET Materials, Manufacturer Materials, and My Materials) to help make materials easier to find.
  
  
• The PMX Export process is seeing several improvements to enhance accuracy and reliability:
  • Accurate status of line items: The export now includes the correct status for all line items, ensuring better tracking and consistency.
  • Duplicate error descriptions fixed: The problem with duplicate descriptions being exported in the Error Description field has been resolved.
  • Enhanced error descriptions: We have added detailed error messages for invalid or incomplete specifications to help with troubleshooting and corrections.
    
    
• A new option has been added to the IFC Settings, allowing you to quickly exclude IFC drawings and architectural symbols when exporting to IFC.
• The Symbol Library component tab is seeing a facelift to cohere with the new user interface of CET.
  
  
• The Kitchen Scheme dialog has been updated to adapt to the screen size when the scale and/or resolution is changed in Windows.

Crash Fixes

• Fixed issue with exporting to Twinmotion that could cause a crash.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed problem with the rectangular Remover tool not highlighting target objects correctly.
• Fixed problem where the Spacebar and Shift+spacebar shortcuts sometimes did not cycle through quick property options correctly, thus preventing seamless toggling between options.
• Fixed problem with DWG import that prevented some materials from being imported into CET.
• Fixed problem with the preview image not updating correctly in the CAD Import dialog.
• Fixed problem where the 2D of an object would sometimes show as black even though the materials were not black.
• Fixed problem with View Clips not snapping to paper margins or borders.
• Fixed problem with the Text tool in the Paper View where the Spell check and Save dialogs would not close after copying and pasting text in the Text tool.
• Fixed problem with the Positioning tool not working as it should with View Clips in the Paper View.
• Fixed problem with the automatic zoom level in Paper View causing thumbnails to overlap the actual paper.
• Fixed problem where changing the settings for Save Location in the Control Panel required a restart for the Save Location for Photo Lab settings to take effect, which it now does instantly.
• Fixed problem where CET got stuck trying to render elevation views of the 2D if the user had enabled the "Render locally if render resources are unavailable" option in the Render Accelerator settings.
• Fixed problem where IFC files sometimes failed to import correctly due to data structure discrepancies.
• Fixed problem with the Calculation where exporting to OFDA XML and importing it into Spec would cause line items to have a different sequence in Spec compared to the XML itself.
• Fixed problem where the visibility in Elevation Views could not be filtered.
• Fixed problem with Scheme dropdown menus in component tabs not remembering their last selected options when the Scheme dialog is opened.
• Fixed problem with the total pricing not being updated in the Calculation when the textile length of a COM was changed.
• Fixed problem that would cause the Kitchen Appliances component tab to take a very long time to open.
• Fixed problem in the Essential Kitchen EU Extension where adjusting the panel depth via the quick properties would extend the panel at the back instead of at the front.
