Fixes and Enhancements

Improvements

• With the 14.5 major release, CET Catalogue data storage has been simplified and moved to a new, unified, location to help save on disk space.
  New installations of CET will automatically benefit from this change. Existing users will get a one-time notification asking if they want to relocate their data to the new folder instead. Which you may have already spotted in the latest release of CET.
  You can always access this setting from the Control Panel at any time.
• CET will now warn if it cannot find any servers when the Render Accelerator is set to render only on remote computers.
• Improved the behavior of the Auto option for White balance in the Photo Lab to make it more picky about what it considers to be white when performing adjustments.
  This also affects the Auto Adjust option in Simple Mode.
• Added a new Order Export option to the Calculation dialog that allows exporting to the PMX format if the CIL Extension is installed.

Crash Fixes

• Fixed issue with loading of Favorites or Collaboration Sections that could cause a crash.
• Fixed issue with propagation of Scheme settings that could cause a crash
• Fixed issue with View Clips that could cause a crash when configuring the Show part tag colors add-on.
• Fixed issue with printers missing from Windows that could cause CET to take extremely long to launch and, in some cases, even crash.
• Fixed issue with rendering in the Photo Lab that could cause a crash.
• Fixed issue with Contour rendering in the Photo Lab that could cause a crash.
• Fixed problem with rendering that could cause the background render to crash, leaving the progress bar stuck at 1% with no warnings or information.
• Fixed issue with stretching of Catalogue objects that could cause a crash.

Bug Fixes

• Stretching Guarding fences upwards will now also correctly produce a corresponding shrinking of the bottom pane, rather than the top pane.
• Fixed problem that could cause the 3D of some Catalogue objects to be incorrect after stretch.
• Fixed problem that could cause the notification showing the download of updates and Extensions to flicker rapidly.
• Fixed problem with Zoom in all objects that could prevent it from correctly fitting all objects into the view.
• Fixed problem with IFC import and certain extrusion profiles that could cause import to fail.
• Fixed problem that could prevent drawings with damaged measurements from loading.
• Fixed problem that could prevent Picklists from importing data from Excel.
• Corrected Norwegian and Swedish mistranslation of the word “industrial”.
• Corrected several texts for Japanese translations.
• Corrected several texts for Chinese translations.
• Fixed problem with snapping of conveyors that could prevent the new unit from matching width with the existing one.
• Fixed several problems with the Bay Editor to ensure that unit loads do not overlap, unit loads show correctly in 2D, Undo works correctly, and certain buttons in the dialog do not go AWOL.
• Fixed problem with Essential Kitchen EU that could cause parts of automatically generated worktops to go missing.
• Fixed problem with Essential Kitchen EU that could prevent worktops from snapping correctly into corners next to full-sized sinks.
• Fixed problem with Essential Kitchen EU and Pharmacy cabinets that could cause their doors to disappear when setting the cabinet to Custom.
• Fixed problem with the File menu (File -> Open -> Autosave) that caused it to miss out on the fact that the Autosave folder has been moved.
• Fixed problem with Export to the .glb format that made it add a floor to the exported file, even though there is no floor in the drawing.
• Fixed problem with Help Points that could cause them to disappear when snapped to Associative Dimensions.
• Fixed problem with the rendering of Elevation views that could cause the progress to show as –100% progress.
• Fixed problem with the Photo Lab that could cause objects in rendered images to turn black when using presets and setting render quality to low.
• Updated the right-click menu inside of the Photo Lab so it no longer lists options that have been disabled due to locking Object selection.
• Fixed problem with the Tone map options in the Photo Lab that could cause the controls to become unresponsive after clicking Reset.
• Fixed problem with the Ghost rendering option in the Photo Lab that could cause colour changes to the image and background.
• Cleaned up some minor ugly line issues with the interface in the Photo Lab.
• Fixed problem with the Commercial Interiors Library and the Catalogue Manager that could result in duplicate notifications about adding manufacturers or showing redundant error messages.
• Fixed problem with the Commercial Interiors Library that could, in rare cases, cause an object, once converted to DWG, to lose its options and materials.
• Improved the experience when using the Change Catalogue Download Location tool; it now defaults to suggesting that you Migrate existing files to avoid needlessly downloading data again.
• Fixed problem with the Material Handling Library beta that could cause the Filters Section to automatically reopen itself when working in the Products Section.
