Introducing Spec
Spec allows users to create a parts list with options (fabrics, trims, finishes, etc.) and prices. This specification can be used for bids and proposals to customers, invoices, and purchase orders, and is in a format that can be used to send orders electronically to a manufacturer. In addition, Spec files can be imported into some accounting and asset management systems. The program combines a user-friendly interface with production-driven features. These features make it available to virtually all levels of the dealer and design professional staff - design, sales, order processing, development, and management. The Spec site license allows for the program to be on any computer at a single location, including portables for the professional on the go! Inventory control, client standards programs, and “what if” tools are available for the sales management team. Spec works for everyone at an affordable price. Some of the key features available to you with this software are as follows:
- Price entire SIF files
- Accurate product counts
- Create and manage option tables for easy specifying
- Specify options such as fabrics and finishes while placing from manufacturer catalogs
- Re-option product that was previously placed or add options
- Easily discount and order projects
- Order specials, COMs, add charges, track customer information
