Question/Issue: How do I install the Software or add Notify?
Answer
Please just run this installer to add what you need. It will detect based on your licenses and add everything automatically.
Once you are done, you will want to use Notify to download your new data.

Please navigate to the My Account, Installation, & Downloading video in the License Manager area of the Help Center. Here you will find step by step instructional videos for all parts of License Manager from adding Users to installing software.
Question/Issue: Where is Notify located?
Answer
You can check for Notify by looking at your system tray down by the clock at the bottom right of your screen. You should see a purple hexagon icon with a book inside, but you may have to click the little up arrow to "Show hidden icons" in order to see it.
Question/Issue: How do I add additional Manufacturers or use Notify?
Answer
To load Manufacturers with Notify, first, launch the program. When it loads, from the list of Manufacturers, left-click a Manufacturer to add it to the Update Queue at the bottom, then click Update Now at the bottom right to download and install it immediately.

Licenses
Question/Issue: How do I add Users to the License Manager?
Answer
To add Users, you will need to follow the steps described in the Adding Users tutorial found in the License Manager portion of the Help Center.

In the menu on the left, click My Company:

Next, Left click the + sign at the bottom right:
- In the menu, Left click "Create Single User":
Question/Issue: How do I assign software licenses?
Answer
Once your Users have been created, you will need to assign them their licenses.
To do that, you can either:
- Assign the Software individually

- Log in to login.projectmatrix.com

Go to the My Company page

Go to Users
-
Select the desired user by clicking on the name

Click on the + sign
- Click on Add Software to User

Check the checkboxes for the Software to be assigned and Click Save (the disc) in the top right corner
- Assign to multiple Users

Go to the My Company page
2. Click on the + sign in the bottom right corner
3. Select Add Software To Users
Question/Issue: I went to download the Software or run the installer, but no software is available to download.
Answer
If you run the ProjectMatrix Installer and get to the tab that says Install Software, but it is blank or does not list any/enough Software, then you will need to have your licenses assigned to you through the License Manager.
To do this, contact the License Manager responsible for your company, or if you are the License Manager, follow these steps:
- Log into login.projectmatrix.com
- Click on your Company name on the left side.
- In the Users section, expand it, find the username in question, and click it.
- Click the big blue + sign at the bottom right and click Add Software.

Legacy
Question/Issue: How do I add a Legacy Catalog?
Answer
To add a Legacy Catalog in Notify, open Notify from the desktop or Start Menu shortcut.
Once Notify opens:
- Click on the Legacy Catalogs tab in the middle of the dialog above the Update Queue
- Browse the Legacy Catalogs list to find the Manufacturer you wish to use
- Expand it by clicking on the + next to the Manufacturer's name
- Click the checkbox next to the Catalog you wish to download or check the entire Version to download all the Catalogs within it
- Click Update Now at the bottom left to download and install it immediately
Question/Issue: How do I activate a Legacy Catalog that I downloaded?

To activate a Legacy Catalog, follow the instructions in this short video tutorial to load the Catalog Manager Advanced Tab to access the Legacy tabs for Manufacturers:
CI Library Warehouse
Question/Issue: Notify says it cannot connect to the CI Library Warehouse even though I have the CI Library Warehouse Installed
Answer
Resetting Notify and the CI Library Warehouse will reestablish the connection between Notify and the Warehouse in order to download updates and new Manufacturer data. Please follow the steps in the Resetting Notify article, found in the Notify section of the Help Center.
Question/Issue: My Notify cannot connect, and I do not have the CI Library Warehouse Installed
Answer
If you receive this error and the CI Library Warehouse is NOT installed, or you cannot find the shortcut for it. To correct this, we can use the Installer.
To do this, run this install here from this link: Project Matrix Installer
When it is finished, use Notify to install your Catalog and symbol data.
