AI Photo uses a token-based subscription model. A token is required each time an AI photo is generated.

The AI Photo Extension is free to install from the Marketplace, but generating AI photos requires an active AI Photo token subscription.

How AI Photo Tokens Work

Each generated AI photo consumes one token.

If a generation fails because of a system issue, no token is deducted.

Tokens are assigned to individual accounts and cannot be shared between accounts.

Available Token Packages

Several AI Photo token package options are available depending on expected usage.

Packages are assigned to individual accounts.

One active subscription of each package type can be assigned at the same time.

For example, an account can have:

• One AI Photo - Token Starter package
• One AI Photo - Token Pro package
• One AI Photo - Token Refill package

Multiple subscriptions of the same package type are not supported.

The AI Photo - Token Refill package is intended to provide additional tokens beyond the standard AI Photo - Token Pro package.

Token quantities are refreshed when the subscription renews. For more information, see the Token Renewal and Expiration section below.

Choosing a Package

The AI Photo - Token Starter package is intended for occasional AI Photo usage or for exploring the feature.

The AI Photo - Token Pro package is designed for regular AI Photo usage and is expected to meet the needs of most customers.

For higher usage, the AI Photo - Token Refill package can be combined with the AI Photo - Token Pro package to provide additional tokens.

Because generating AI images often involves creating multiple variations before arriving at a final result, token usage may vary significantly between projects.

Purchase and Assignment

AI Photo token packages are purchased through the Marketplace in the same way as CET licenses and Extensions.

License administrators can purchase and assign token packages within an organization.

Token subscriptions currently require payment by credit card.

All subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days unless canceled.

Token Balance

After a token package has been assigned, the current token balance is displayed in the AI Photo Studio which is opened within the AI Photo Extension.

Review the token counter before generating images to see how many tokens are available.

Token Renewal & Expiration

Tokens are tied to the subscription period of the package they belong to.

When a subscription renews:

• Any unused tokens from the previous subscription period expire.
• A new batch of tokens is added.

Unused tokens do not roll over between subscription periods.

If multiple token packages are assigned at different times, each package renews according to its own subscription schedule and may have a different renewal date.

Additional Tokens

When additional tokens are needed, an AI Photo - Token Refill package can be assigned.

Subscription Cancellation

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time.

If a subscription is canceled, it remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, the subscription does not renew automatically.
