Where can I customize the reports uploaded to my quotations?
To customize the reports generated, click the Options button next to the Upload PDF Reports checkbox in the component tab, or you can proceed to the Print Dialog and change the report settings.
Where does CRM Connect get its quote numbers from?
CRM Connect generates quote numbers using the CRM system’s provided API:s, hence the quote numbers are dependent on the CRM system’s configuration and settings.
Where does CRM Connect store all the files and attachments generated?
To view the attachment files generated during quote upload, click the View Files button in the result dialog once the upload has finished.
How do I view the past quotes generated?
To view past quotes generated, select a project/opportunity in the Extension, then click on the History button in the Quotations section of the component tab. A list of past quotes associated with the project is shown and clicking on one will display products line items, while double clicking on a quotes will open a link directly to the corresponding page in the CRM system.
Why does CRM Connect prompt me to reload or reselect the opportunity after I save and reopen the drawing?
To ensure that the project information is current and updated according to data in the CRM system, it is recommended that you reload the project before uploading quotes or perform other tasks.
What is Key Mapping in Advanced settings?
Custom key mapping is for the organization’s CRM system administrators who want to define custom object mapping for their CRM system. This could be done in order to define relationships between CRM objects' data fields and CET's Project Information data fields, and is a way of supporting custom defined data fields for CRM objects. Incorrect mapping may result in data loss or incorrect data being loaded.

What are Salesforce Client ID:s?
Salesforce client ID:s refer to a code used by Salesforce to authorize external applications to access the CRM system; it is essentially the Consumer Key identifying the client app authenticating through OAuth when accessing Salesforce. Please note that it is NOT your user name/ID or password.
Which Salesforce object permissions are needed for CRM Connect users?
The required Salesforce object permissions used by CRM Connect are as follows:

What are the supported Salesforce Editions?
Salesforce API is only available for Salesforce Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance, and Developer Editions, hence CRM Connect would only work with the above Salesforce Editions. Professional Edition account users must purchase an API access add-on from Salesforce to enable API functionalities, please contact Salesforce to enquire.
How are Salesforce logins authenticated?
Salesforce login is authenticated using OAuth 2.0 - User Agent Flow, in which the login process is handled through Salesforce's own web page, and CRM Connect only utilizes the token granted by Salesforce's servers after the user's initial approval.
Products Data
How does CRM Connect handle product variants with same product code?
CRM Connect will upload product variants with the same product code, which can be identified using the unique part key in CET. The part key is stored in the Description of Products in the CRM System.
How does CRM Connect deal with updated product info in CET?
For the time being, CRM Connect does not merge or update existing product information if the product information in CET has been updated.
Is there support for Pricebooks for products?
CRM Connect uploads all products data to the standard pricebook, and custom pricebooks are currently not supported.
Why are the quantities sometimes different from the Calculation dialog in CET?
CRM Connect uploads line items based on products, hence the quantity of a particular product will be the sum of all items of that product in the Calculation dialog.
Why is the total price sometimes different from the Calculation dialog in CET?
Please check if you have automatic rounding turned on for the total price in the Calculation dialog, as that would reflect a slightly different total amount than what is in the CRM system.
Other Known Issues and Limitations
- Quote numbers in the Project Information dialog are missing after saving and reloading. This is a known issue in the Project Information dialog.
- Currently, the CRM Connect Extension only works with the Accounts object in CRM.
- The Extension’s operation is dependent on the CRM System’s Daily API usage and Storage usage limits.
