There are three main areas to the Material Portal dialog box: the Filters area, the Details area, and the material swatches grid.

Filters

The Filters fields can be used to narrow down the material swatches shown on the right side of the dialog box. By default, all available materials will show. Selections made in the drop-down lists for Company, Brand, and Category are applied upon selection. Additional search information can be applied by typing in the open fields followed by clicking Apply button. The Reset button will clear both the drop-down list selections and the search fields, resulting in all available swatches being shown once again.

Company Filter: Drop-down to choose specific textile company.

Brand Filter: Drop-down to select the brand within the company where applicable.

Category Filter: Filter by materials type (e.g. panel, upholstery, wallcovering).

Pattern/Family Search: Text box for searching by pattern or family name. Must be entered as exact text match.

Colorway Search: Text box for searching colorway names. Must be entered as exact text match.

Reset Button: Clears all filter and search selections to show all available material swatches.

Apply Button: Refreshes the material grid with the entered search criteria.

Details

When a material swatch is selected by a single left click, this panel will show the additional product information provided directly from the manufacturer. This may include the SubCategory, SKU, Finish, or other specification information.

Material Swatches Grid

By default, all available materials will show in this area, but the search and filter tools can be used to narrow down the results shown. 

Each swatch is displayed with the Pattern/Family name and Colorway at the top left. 

A download icon shows in the bottom right corner. A green check mark is shown in this corner for materials that are currently downloaded. 

The page number and number of pages of results are shown at the bottom center of this area along with arrows to advance the page to the beginning, previous, next, or last page of swatches.
