Solution
Scenario 1:
If your company has recently migrated from License Manager to MyConfigura, try logging into Spec using your MyConfigura credentials. If you need to reset your MyConfigura password, please use the following link: https://app.configura.com/forgot-password
You can check the following page for whether you have a Spec license in MyConfigura: https://my.configura.com/index.pl?page=marketplace§ion=cetdesigner&pid=1794
If you’re still unsure whether your company has completed the migration, please check with your company's license administrator, as they would have been involved in that process.
After migration, please also ensure you run the new installers for Notify and CI Library Warehouse in this order:
- CI Library Warehouse installer (run first)
- Notify installer
Note: The CI Library Warehouse installer requires administrator permissions to run. If you don’t have admin rights on your computer, please reach out to your IT administrator for assistance.
Completing these steps ensures that the software references your most up-to-date license and expiration information.
Scenario 2:
If your company has not migrated to MyConfigura then we have confirmed that this issue will occur if the password for your License Manager account is the same password used for your MyConfigura account.
The current workaround in this case is to reset your License Manager password to be different from your MyConfigura password. This can be done by navigating to the link below and following the prompts:

If the error persists after password reset or you’re unsure whether your company has completed the migration, please reach out to Support.
