Creating a new project in catalogue creator
Step 1
Open Catalogue Creator and then enter the Enterprise/Manufacturer code first in the Project card
Step 2
Enable the Use Constraints (BETA) checkbox. Click the OK button on the message dialog.
Catalogue Creator will now show the Constraints (BETA) and Constraint Table (BETA) cards
Opening existing catalogue without prior Constraints usage in Catalogue Creator
Step 1:
Open Catalogue Creator and then load the project
Step 2:
Enable the Use Constraints (BETA) checkbox. Click the OK button on the message dialog.
Catalogue Creator will now show the Constraints (BETA) and Constraint Table (BETA) cards
Step 3:
Go to Constraints (BETA) card and double click on any Code cell. Enter the Constraints code.
Step 4:
Enter the Constraints .Expression in the Expression text field.
Validate = to check whether the expression is valid.
Validate and Assign = to check and assign the expression if it’s valid.
Step 5:
Go to Geometry card, select any product via the Product List drop down
Click on the Constraints module tab, drag and drop created Constraints to the Product view
You have now successfully assigned the Constraints to the product
Step 5 (alternative):
Go to Products card, enable Constraints from the Visible Column drop down
Click the Constraints drop down and select the Constraint you want to apply to the product.
You have now successfully added the Constraints to the product
Opting-out from using Constraints
If users want to opt-out from using Constraints, they can do it by unchecking the Use Constraints (BETA) checkbox in the Project card
The Constraints (BETA) and Constraint Table (BETA) cards will also be hidden
