There exists a fork of Microsoft's Visual Studio Code called VSCodium. It is an entirely open-source fork of the same software, with very nearly complete feature/functionality matching. For information on the software itself, see the VSCodium homepage.

The CM extension that was created for VS Code is 100% compatible with VSCodium. If any discrepancy is found, it should be considered a bug and reported to Developer Support.

The CM extension is made available via the Open VSX Marketplace, which is the default extension marketplace for VSCodium.
