The Catalog Manager allows you to activate only the catalogs you want to use at any given time from the ones you have installed. Turning off catalogs that are not currently being used can help minimize and improve search results along with simplify browsing. You can also use this to activate any Legacy catalogs you installed as well as select Price Zones for manufacturers or individual catalogs. Deactivating a catalog does not remove it from your downloads.
The Catalog Manager can be accessed with the binders icon on the Home, View, and Price tabs. You can also open this with the keyboard shortcut Shift + F2.
At the bottom of the Catalog Information panel, you can also left click on the gear icon and select Catalog Manager from this menu.
Basic
When the Catalog Manager is in the Basic mode, you can activate and deactivate manufactures' catalogs that have been installed.
- Refresh - Refreshes the data to sync with Notify.
- Basic/Advanced Toggle - Switches the manager from Basic to Advanced mode.
- Alphabet ribbon - Allows for quick navigation to manufacturers by letter.
- Manufactures Installed - Displays tiles for each manufacturer showing:
- Number of Current Catalogs activated.
- Number of Legacy Catalogs activated. These can only be activated in the Advanced mode as noted below.
- If Enhanced Data is Available. This indicates the manufacturer has provided additional images for options and materials and may also provide material mapping to show the selected materials on the part preview.
Click on a manufacturer's tile to activate or deactivate it. When activated, the tile will show with a border around the tile and a check in the top right corner. When deactivated, these will not show. In Basic mode, activating a manufacture will only activate the current catalogs installed. See the Advanced mode section below for details on how to activate Legacy catalogs. Changes to the manufacturer states need to be saved to apply.
Additional links and buttons are provided along the bottom of the window.
