The Part Specifier can be accessed with this icon on the Home, View, or Price tabs. It can also be accessed in the right click menu on a record line or with the shortcut F2. 

Catalog Version

The top bar of this dialog contains the Catalog name and version number. 

Price Information

The Price Information section contains the Part Number, Part Description, Base Price, Upcharges, and Total price for the part. 

3D Preview

The 3D Preview area displays a graphic when provided by the manufacturer. The manufacturer may also provide material images and appropriate mapping of the materials onto the part preview.

This view can be modified with the tools across the top of the window or using your mouse buttons. This view can be updated on the spreadsheet image by clicking Accept.

Selected Options 

The Selected Options section displays the options selected from the Available Options below that have been applied to the product.

Standard Options

Descriptions of these buttons' functions are provided below. Please see the Standard Options article for more information about working with Standard Options.

Add All - Will add all options shown in the Selected Options area to the Standard Options table. This will open the Standard Options Information dialog, which will provide the ability to add these to the General Standards or with Criteria.

Add Selected - Provides the ability to add only certain options from the Selected Options area to the Standard Options table. To select the options, hold Ctrl and click the option lines, then click Add Selected. This will open the Standard Options Information dialog, which will provide the ability to add these to the General Standards or with Criteria.

Edit - Opens the Standard Option Data Table where modifications to the options can be made.

Available Options

This section will display options one at a time that are available for selection. All options can be selected in the sequence provided by the manufacturer by double clicking to select, or buttons are provided below for additional actions. 

Option Prompt - Displays a prompt for the option being selected in blue. This will show "No further options." when all options have been selected.

Filter - Type in the field to immediately filter the Available Options listed and quickly find the selection needed. Click the icon to clear the text from the field.

Options - Double click to select each option in the sequence.

Enhanced Data where Available - As the options are presented, images will be shown if they were provided by the manufacturer. Catalogs that contain any of this information will be labeled with "Enhanced Data Available". 

Change Single - Provides the ability to change just one option from the Selected Options. Left click to select an option from the Selected Options and then click Change Single. Keep in mind, some options are dependent on previous selections such as material grade.

Skip - Will skip the current option selection and continue with any further option selections.

Backup - Will backup or undo the last option selection.

Redo - Will clear all the selected options and allow you to reselect from the beginning.

Next Record - Will Accept any changes and move to the next record line in the spreadsheet. 

Accept - Click to accept the part as currently specified, close the Part Specifier window, and return to the spreadsheet.

Bottom Bar

Auto Option - Click to turn Auto Options on and off. Please see the Auto Option & Standard Options article for more information about working with this feature.

Standard Options - Click to turn Standard Options on and off. Please see the Auto Option & Standard Options article for more information about working with this feature.

Zone - Displays Price Zone for the product.
