CET is a platform upon which you can add different Extensions. These Extensions can either contain products from a particular manufacturer, include specific functionality (editing graphics, applying materials, etc.), or add accessories to your drawing to design a realistic space for rendering (office accessories, plants, lights, etc.).

A License Administrator purchases and manages CET and manufacturer licenses for all users at a dealership. You can have more than one License Administrator at a dealership. For a users to run a manufacturer Extension, they must be given a license from their License Administrator. Some manufacturers require approval before a user can access the Extension. This process usually takes up to 24 hours after purchasing or requesting the license. If needed, a License Administrator can also recall a license if a user no longer requires it.

The purpose for this licensing system is to make it easy to control who is using an Extension. The licensing system also makes it easier for the end users. They are not required to manage their own paid licenses, remember to renew them, and so on, since everything can be handled by their License Administrator.
