Spec 8.5: November 17, 2025

Introducing a dockable Detail View that syncs with the spreadsheet, supports scrolling, and saves layout automatically based on available screen space.
Added ALT + F12 shortcut to switch between views, including the new dockable Details View. (Note: If you use this shortcut to switch between views this will unload any Loaded view template saved in Tools - Settings)
Added CTRL + A shortcut to select all visible records in lists and grids.
Added ALT + G shortcut to gather all open dialogs within the visible screen area.
Added right-click option in PMX to clear all images for easier reset and refresh.
Added filtering to the Part Options to help users quickly locate specific options.
Added a survey metrics system to track user feedback and measure satisfaction, adoption, and engagement.

Improved program startup by grouping warnings for inaccessible paths and temporarily applying default options for the session.
Removed an old launcher file to make startup faster and setup easier.
Prevented a new file from triggering a Save As prompt, improving file creation flow.
Improved lock file handling by removing same-user locks automatically to reduce file conflicts.
Improved subtotal records display by automatically hiding columns with zero values.
Updated the Global Furniture Group SIF export format to include standardized tags for improved compatibility.

Fixed problem with saving files when target locations were unavailable by introducing an automatic save process to prevent corruption.
Fixed problem with session conflicts when using the same login credentials for MyConfigura and CIL License Manager.
Fixed problem with loading print templates from unavailable sources by automatically using default templates instead.
Fixed problem with grouping and sorting that caused errors when using multi-tiered sort criteria.
Fixed problem with price zone descriptions not updating immediately after changing zones.
Fixed problem with the Part Specifier window appearing off-screen; the dialogue now repositions automatically.
Fixed problem with corrupted Master Address Book data by creating a new address book automatically when corruption is detected.
Fixed problem with null reference errors when adjusting sort criteria after subtotaling, grouping, and sorting.
Fixed problem where PMX spreadsheet lines appeared cut off or misaligned in PDF printouts by adding automatic column width adjustments.
Fixed problem where uppercase characters in PMX file names were converted to lowercase when opening files.
Fixed problem with copying and pasting records between Spec (PMX) files that caused a “Casting DB Null to System.String” error.

There is a known issue related to the details view. The extended information under the "Detail Data" section is currently not editable in this release. Editing functionality will be added in our next update in December.
