This article explains the purpose of the Material Handling Library Extension and how to get started.
About
The Material Handling Library Extension gives you the ability to insert manufacturer symbols from the library directly into CET Material Handling.
This Extension supplements your current extensions by providing symbols, pricing, and specification options. Manufacturers can opt to have their symbols in the Material Handling Library snap to other symbols making placement effortless.
The Material Handling Library will continue to grow as more manufacturers' products are added.
For some products, you will find a clickable link in the Quick Properties. This link will take you to a specific website where you can get more information about the product or manufacturer.

Working with MHL Picklists
The Material Handling Library Extension now gives you the ability to add and customize picklist information.
There are three ways to add a MHL picklist to your drawing. The first way to create a picklist is to click the Add manually button. Once the picklist name is in the drawing, it can be selected with symbols to be combined into the picklist:
The next way to create a picklist is by selecting the components you would like to have included in the picklist then clicking the Combine as unit button:
With both of the above methods, you may select Additional info in the quick properties box to enter in additional details:
Select the Use arrow option within the quick properties to generate an arrow from the picklist name to the combined symbols. With this option selected, the quick properties will allow for customization of the arrow and leader line:
You can also create a MHL picklist by opening the Picklist Manager, then clicking the Add manually button from the Add New dropdown. Picklists that are created from within the Picklist Manager may only have lines added, and can not have symbols added to them:
Columns may be added to the Picklist Manager by selecting Column from the Add new dropdown. Enter a name for the new column, as well as any values within that column. If you would like to remove a column, select the Ellipse then click the red trash can icon next to the created column you would like to delete:
You can delete a line item from a picklist by selecting that line's box on the far left, then selecting the Delete button. Deleting the picklist line will remove all attached symbols from the picklist:
You can also delete in bulk by selecting the checkbox for more than one line item then selecting the Delete in bulk button:
To edit picklist column information, double click into the cell you'd like to change, enter the new value, then press Enter. The edited cells will appear with a teal background. Changes will be reflected within calculations immediately. To revert to the original value of a cell, hover over it then select the red X that appears to the right of the cell:
Additional information can be added to line items by selecting the line check box, then using the Add new dropdown to select Part. Part information can then be edited by double clicking into the cells. To add information to several line items at once, select the lines then use the Add new dropdown. To edit the information for several lines at once, select the lines, then use the Edit in bulk dropdown. Rows that are added with additional information will not appear teal after the cells have been edited:
There is a Search bar available at the top of the Picklist Manager. Things in the picklist will become highlighted when found from Search bar:
