The CET Designer license model is user-based, which means the software can be purchased, installed and used on as many computers as required. Each license is tied to a specific user account, enabling people to work from anywhere at anytime. Licenses are handled by a License Administrator, who is responsible for purchasing licenses and distributing them to End users.
Everyone who wishes to use the CET Designer software, or handle licenses and Extensions, must set up a MyConfigura account. MyConfigura is a portal webservice connecting you to all of Configura's cloud-based services. Licensing information, current projects, renderings, and even videos can be safely stored, easily accessed and readily shared.
MyConfigura is also a community provided by Configura. Here, you can create groups - Briefcases - open only to people that you have invited. This gives you a unique opportunity to collaborate with co-workers or colleagues and share information in a quick and accessible way. MyConfigura is easily accessed directly from CET Designer, but is also available on https://my.configura.com.
Apart from the basic functionality on MyConfigura, License Administrators and Supervisors also have access to the tools that they need to handle license requests and user requests. These tools are available on specific tabs, only accessible for authorized License Administrators and Supervisors.
