The columns used in discounting are as follows:
Buy: Cost to dealership
Buy %: Percent off List (for example 50/10/5)
Buy Base: Dealer net
List: Published price list
Margin %: Gross Profit - percentage between sell and buy
Markup %: Percent added to Buy (for example 30% over cost/purchase)
Profit: Difference between Sell and Buy amounts
Sell: Price to client
Sell %: Percentage between Sell and List
Discounting can be applied to individual lines, or at the group level, e.g. by Manufacturer, Catalog, Category, etc.

Dealer Discount % (Buy)
Double click into any blue cell to edit the contents. You can enter a specific number, or you can type a complex discount (e.g."50/10/10"), which will automatically calculate the percentage:
After you enter the Buy% you can either enter a Markup%, Margin% or Sell% to get a Sell price at any level; Manufacture, Catalog, Category or even at the part level:
If you enter more than one discount to achieve the Sell amount (Markup%, Margin% or Sell%) the last number entered will be used. You should only use one method to calculate Sell to avoid confusion.
You can also enter the discount on an individual line or type in the Sell amount.
