Catalogue Tools 16.0 Major: May 27, 2025
Improvements & New Features
- The Catalogue Creator will now save catalogs in a deterministic order to allow for consistency in other representations, such as OFDA XML and SQL data files, to allow for accurate change control.
- We've added a visual cue, turning the fields for effective and expiration dates red, if the expiration date is set to an earlier date than the effective date.
- A pop-up notification has been added to indicate when Connectors, Measure parameters, and External Reference Keys have been successfully copied in the Geometry card.
- Support has been added to allow manufacturers to specify Material Quantity for their products on Feature and Option level.
- A pop-up message has been added to the Component Tab Creator, reminding users to migrate and utilize the new version of it.
- The 'Preview' toggle in the Presentation Configurator for Cards has been renamed to 'Activate' and reworked to allow more developer control over toolbox visibility. This enables use cases like data-driven catalogue with customized behaviors through code.
- The Presentation Configurator for Card UI Level now supports selecting a branding image to be displayed above the Extension header.
- The new Scheme drop-down option in the Presentation Configurator for the Card and Section UI levels allows users to show, hide, or select different schemes for the scheme button in the header and section header.
- Added a new size option for branding images of 312x96 px, in addition to the existing 312x48 px size.
- Added the option for the Catalogue Creator to customize the polygon budget and max polygon count when using the Batch Converter.
- We've added some functionality to the Batch Converter that was already available in Model Lab:
- Align Axis XY, XZ, YZ: just like in Model Lab, this aligns the model into a 9-grid position depending on which two axes are selected.
- Move: moves the model in XYZ.
- Rotate: rotates the model (this feature was moved here from the General section).
- Added support for gltf import (suffix .glb) in Model Lab.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed problem with feature reordering in the Feature view and Product view tree, where moved or added features would end up in an unintended position.
- Fixed problem with the Presentation Configurator not remembering its last opened position.
- Fixed problem with changes made to a section in the Presentation Configurator not getting updated in the menu.
